Republic completes perfect 15-0 Panorama League season

Zach Gianukakis finished with a game-high 21 points and Tyler Orestad added 14 more before both took the second half off as the Republic Tigers (20-1, 15-0) capped an unbeaten Panorama League season with a 102-46 win over the visiting Cusick Panthers (6-15, 5-9) on Monday.

Columbia 51, Inchelium 45: Nick Kegel scored 13 points and hit 3 of 4 free throws in the final minute to help the Lions hold off the Hornets in a Panorama loser-out tie-breaker. Dustin Rempfher led Columbia (7-12, 5-10) with 15 points. Richard Williams tossed in a game-high 23 points for Inchelium (7-13, 5-10).

LaCrosse-Washtucna 62, Colton 45: Matt Martin had a game-high 26 points and Kyle Lepper scored 18 to carry the Tigercats (16-4, 9-3) to a win over the visiting Wildcats (6-14, 2-10) in Whitman County League play.

Girls

Pam Passmore scored 11 of her team-high 15 points in the first half to lead the LaCrosse-Washtucna Tigercats to a 64-45 win over the Colton Wildcats in a Whitman County League make-up game at Washtucna. The Tigercats (16-4, 9-3) earned the No. 2 seed in the league tourney, while Colton (6-14, 3-9) is the No. 6.
