NEW FACES

Coldwell Banker Northwest Group has hired Joleen Sdao. She has 10 years of experience in the banking industry and previously worked in communications at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Toni Carter has been hired as an account manager in the sales department at Riley Creek. Carter was previously the sales manager at Blue Mountain Lumber Products in Pendleton, Ore., and has been in the lumber sales business for over 24 years.

HollisterStier has hired Kim Bond as a scientist I. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Gonzaga University.

Mark Roberge has been hired at HollisterStier as a scientist II. Roberge holds a doctorate in chemistry from the University of North Dakota and previously worked with the United States Department of Agriculture Animal Metabolism Unit in Fargo, N.D.

HollisterStier has hired Sommer Teague as a scientist I. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry/biochemistry from Eastern Washington University.

Loren Queen has been hired at TPG Enterprises in Othello, Wash., as the sales and marketing manager for Snappy Apples, the company’s line of fresh-cut apples, and as a project manager for Tart is Smart, the company’s cherry juice. Queen was previously the director of marketing for the International Fresh-cut Produce Association.

The North Wall Street office on Windermere Real Estate has hired Elise Robertson as a sales associate. Robertson served in the Air Force during Operation Desert Storm and is new to real estate.

Upendra Trivedi has been hired as a structural engineer at Integrus Architecture. He has over 32 years of experience as a senior structural engineer, project engineer and facility engineer.

Regan Patton has been hired as a senior research scientist by CSIRO Exploration and Mining in Australia. Patton was previously an adjunct assistant scientist at Washington State University’s Department of Geology.

Keller Williams Realty has hired Brian Murray as a real estate agent. He previously served in the Washington State Senate.

Tami Tedrow-Howard has been hired at Integrus Architecture as director of business development. Tedrow-Howard previously worked in the business development and marketing department of the Austin Company.

PROMOTED

The firm of Schoedel & Schoedel, CPAs has promoted Scott Opperud to partner. Opperud has been with the firm for nine years and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eastern Washington University.

Darcy Skjothaug has been promoted to partner at the certified public accounting firm of Schoedel & Schoedel. Skjothaug has been with the firm for 12 years and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eastern Washington University.

HollisterStier has promoted Paul Wadlow to process development project manager. Wadlow has been with the company since 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Washington University.

Brian Coddington has been promoted to account supervisor at Rockey Hill & Knowlton Spokane. Coddington has been with the company for three years and holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Whitworth College.

John Lo of Peter Wong Associates, an affiliate of Intervest Mortgage Investment Co., has been promoted to vice president of the company. Lo was previously a property loan producer and has been with the company for four years.

AmeriPlan Corporation has promoted Patricia Flores to regional sales director. The company has also promoted Annette Grass to senior executive sales director.

The Small Business Development Centers hosted by Washington State University has promoted Brett Rogers to state director. He was previously an associate state director and holds a master’s degree in international management from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management.

James McNeill has been promoted to member of the firm of Foster Pepper & Shefelman. He is a graduate of the Gonzaga University School of Law and Washington State University.

KUDOS

Countrywide Home Loans has awarded Cristi Zacherle Number One Mortgage Planner for 2004 for Eastern Washington and Idaho. Zacherle is a senior home loan consultant and mortgage planner and has been with the company for nine years.

Paul Kirkpatrick of Kirkpatrick & Startzel has become a certified moderator. Kirkpatrick received this designation after completing the mediation program at the University of Washington School of Law.

Jennifer Wiemers has been given the Personal Banker of the Year Award for the Northwest region by Sterling Savings Bank. Wiemers has been with the bank since 1997 and will soon become a lender at the Argonne branch.

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has awarded the city of Post Falls with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

Jeffrey Whyatt of the Department of Health and Human Services Spokane Research Laboratory has been named one of the top 10 federal engineers of the year by the National Society of Professional Engineers.

Mary Ellen Gaffney-Brown has been appointed as a lawyer representative from the Eastern District of Washington to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference. She is a partner at the firm of Lineberger & Gaffney-Brown and was appointed by Chief United States District Judge Fred Van Sickle.
