Chase Youth Foundation – Board members are needed who are interested in organizing fund-raising events and enlisting corporate partners to further the goals of the Chase Youth Commission. For information, call Joann at 625-6440 or e-mail jbenham@spokanecity.org.

Habitat-Spokane Builders Surplus Store – Customer service representatives are needed to assist customers in their shopping; sales associates are needed to stock, operate registers and merchandising; warehouse assistants are needed to accept donations and stock shelves. Interfaith Hospitality Network of Spokane – Greeters are needed as families arrive at the day center at 7 a.m. Volunteers will make guests feel welcome, answer questions, make coffee, take phone messages, perform light cleaning and some office duties. For more information, call Candy at 747-5487.

Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute – Host families are needed for Japanese students visiting Spokane. For more information, call Marlene at 328-2972 or e-mail marlenes@mfwi.org.

Shriners Hospitals for Children – A volunteer coordinator is needed to assist with intake, processing, paperwork and recognition for incoming volunteers. Volunteers are also needed to serve food in the dining room or the patient area. For more information, call 455-7844.

Wednesday’s Child – Professional photographers are needed to take pictures of children as an adoption promotion. The pictures will be featured on the KXLY Web site and in the Pacific Northwest Inlander. Volunteers are also needed to work with the children to compile a written and pictorial record of the child’s extended family.
