Bi-County: After completing a perfect football season with the B-11 state championship, Lind-Ritzville’s boys have continued a perfect year in basketball. The Broncos are 6-0, 4-0 in league with a test at Wilbur-Creston (3-4, 3-2) on Friday. … A lot will be learned about the Almira/Coulee-Hartline girls team after a two-game stretch this week. On Friday night, the Warriors (5-0, 4-0) travel to Sprague-Harrington (7-1, 6-0). S-H has won its last seven games, all by more than 20 points. Tuesday, ACH plays at Kittitas (6-1), which finished third at state last year.

Panorama: Curlew’s girls, off to a 10-0 start, 5-0 in league, have five players averaging double figures. Nicole Miller leads the Cougars at 15.7 points a game. Defending state boys champion Republic has a two-game lead in the North Division, but the other five teams are tightly bunched. In the South, St. George’s and Selkirk are separated by one game: the Dragons’ 57-37 home win last month.

Whitman County: The Tekoa-Oakesdale (8-0) boys basketball team broke a two-way tie for first place Tuesday night with a 65-52 over St. John-Endicott (7-3) and is 3-0 in league. The Eagles are tied for second (2-1 in league) with Asotin (7-2), which they play Saturday. On the girls’ side, a tie for first between the Nighthawks and the Eagles was also broken Tuesday when Tekoa-Oakesdale (8-3) won 50-44 over St. John-Endicott (5-3). The Garfield-Palouse (9-0) girls moved to 2-0 in league, leaving them a half-game behind the Nighthawks. Friday night league matchups include Garfield-Palouse at Asotin, Colton at Rosalia and Tekoa-Oakesdale at LaCrosse-Washtucna.
