Jaycee Carroll scored a career-high 28 points, 24 of them coming on 3-point shots, in Utah State’s 80-70 win over UC Santa Barbara at Logan, Utah. Carroll shot 8 of 12 from behind the 3-point line for the Aggies and grabbed six rebounds. Santa Barbara was led in scoring by Joe See with 26 points. He also had eight 3-pointers. … At Long Beach, Calif., David Doubley scored 15 points and Jasko Korajkic added 14 to lead Pacific to a 68-60 victory over Long Beach State. The Tigers have won five straight games and seven of their last eight. They improved to 5-1 on the road. Christian Maraker scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Tigers, who have beaten Long Beach State in four of their last five meetings. … At Irvine, Calif., Ian Boylan scored 19 points as Cal State Northridge overcame an 11-point halftime deficit to beat UC Irvine 66-52. … At Fullerton, Calif., Bobby Brown scored 23 points and Jamaal Brown made two free throws with 4.9 seconds to play to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 74-71 victory over UC Riverside.
