Pullman’s boys have sprinted to an early lead in basketball using defense and balanced scoring. The Greyhounds (9-3, 4-0), winners of six straight, have allowed 41.3 points per league game. On offense, Pullman has seven players averaging between five and nine points, with George Turner leading the way at 8.1. The Greyhounds travel to Lakeside-Nine Mile Falls (8-5, 4-1) on Tuesday with first place on the line. Alex Stillar leads Lakeside at 10.8 ppg.
