Lind-Ritzville moved into the Bi-County League’s driver’s seat by capping a home-and-home sweep of Northwest Christian.

The Broncos followed up their 48-42 win at Colbert on Jan. 15 with a 63-57 win on their home court Tuesday, despite committing 20 turnovers

Andy Wellsandt scored six of his eight points by being perfect from the free-throw line, hitting a pair to hold off the Crusaders in the final 90 seconds. Cameron Stevenson paced Lind-Ritzville (14-0, 12-0) with 22 points, and Jake Kragt added 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Karl Richardson and Josh Greer each scored 14 to lead the Crusaders (13-2, 10-2), whose losses this season have come at the hands of the Broncos.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 55, Wilbur-Creston 41: Greg Giese scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Warriors (7-6, 6-5) to the road victory over the Wildcats (5-9, 5-7). ACH was 7 of 16 from long range.

Pat Smart drilled all three 3-point shots he took, was 6 of 8 from the field and picked off four steals to lead the Rams (9-4, 4-2) past the visiting Colville Indians (3-11, 0-7), 57-35.

The Republic Tigers gave themselves a three-game lead over their nearest North Division challenger, dumping visiting Curlew (15-1, 10-1) 77-29. Zach Gianukakis collected 23 points and seven steals to spark the Tigers (15-1, 10-0). … Selkirk 78, Cusick 56: Mikki Cromwell scored 14 of his game-high 25 points in the second half and grabbed 12 rebounds to spark the Rangers (10-7, 8-3) to a win over the visiting Panthers (4-13, 3-8) at Ione. … St. Michael’s 81, Springdale 78 (2OTs): The Warriors needed two overtimes to escape Springdale with the victory. The Chargers were down by six points with three minutes left in regulation and tied the game with eight seconds left in regulation on a jumper by Geno Longria. The Chargers (2-15, 1-10) tied the score at the end of the first overtime on a lay-up by Mike Whitney with five seconds remaining. Carlos Durazo sank four free throws in the final two minutes of the second overtime to give St. Michael’s the win. Durazo finished with 30 points for the Warriors (7-9, 5-6). … Wellpinit 81, Columbia-Hunters 73: Preston Wynne scored 25 points and Chazz Flett added another 22 to lead the visiting Redskins (9-7, 7-4) past the Lions (4-10, 3-7).

The 1A third-ranked Freeman Scotties took a 20-4 lead after one quarter and never looked back at Timberlake (5-9), scoring an 80-31 win over the Tigers at Spirit Lake. Malcolm Soelberg had 21 points to lead Freeman (13-2). … Tekoa-Oakesdale 62, St. George’s 49: Derek Flock and Bobby Ellis both poured in 15 points to lead the No. 5 Nighthawks (14-2) past the visiting Dragons (8-8). … Colton 75, Pullman Christian 47: Colton’s Kyle Schultheis scored 26 points, pulled down 10 boards and dished off eight steals.
