Art in the Window Janine Grende will be demonstrating silk painting in the window of Angel Gallery of Fine Arts and Antiques, 423 Sherman Ave., 1-4 p.m.

Tickets on sale for Art on the Edge mARTi gras benefit to be held Feb. 5 at Brix Restaurant, which will include a no-host bar, and a Cajun Cook-Off featuring “Cuisine Coeur d’Alene” chefs, performances by the sisters of Selket and dancing to the music of the Pat Coast Band. Tickets are $30. Proceeds benefit Art on the Edge. Tickets are available at Brix, St. Vincent de Paul, Capone’s, the Coeur d’Alene Winery, Enoteca and Cheryl Burchell Goldsmiths.
