Trace Stephens graduates from culinary arts school

Trace Stephens of Spokane received an associate’s degree from the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University, Providence, R.I. during spring commencement.

“Adam Nebeker and Nicholas Wysham, both Spokane residents, have recently graduated from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va. Nebeker received his Juris Doctor, and Wysham received his Bachelor of Arts.

“Whitworth College has announced local students who have been named to the school’s Laureate Society during spring semester.

“Joyce Beaulieu of Newport, Wash., recently graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in social services from Spokane Falls Community College. The daughter of John and Beverly Young of Newport, she plans to continue her education in social services at Whitworth College.

“Lee Tortorelli, a student at the University of Montana School of Journalism, received the Photo Faculty Award Scholarship to be used for the 2005-06 academic year. He is the son of Toni Cook and Joe Tortorelli, both of Spokane.

“Jedediah Fix graduated during spring commencement with a liberal arts degree in economics from Macalester College, St. Paul, Minn. A graduate of St. George’s School , he is the son of Marsha Rooney and Barney Fix, both of Spokane.

“Spokane resident Donald Nelson was named to the dean’s list for spring semester at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn.

“Nathan Nolting of Pullman received his Bachelor of Arts in theology and youth, family and education ministry from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Ind., during spring commencement. He is the son of Dudley and Elizabeth Nolting.

“Ruth Griggs of Kettle Falls, Wash., and Heidi Horobiowski of Spokane, were named to the dean’s list at Eastern Oregon University, La Grande, Ore., for the spring term.

“Spokane residents Tegra Nuess and Katelyn Nelson were named to the dean’s list for spring semester at Connecticut College, New London, Conn.

“Chandra Hein of Spokane Valley was named to the dean’s list for spring semester at Samford University, Birmingham, Ala.

“Christi Anne Hofland of Spokane was named to the Gonzaga University dean’s list for spring semester.

“Bridget Alexander and Breanne Rolando, both of Spokane, were named to the president’s list for spring semester at Gonzaga University.
