Two honored at FLBA conference

Two area students were honored at the recent Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla. Odessa (Wash.)High School sophomore Matthew Zeiler won first place in the Principles and Procedures category. The Odessa chapter of FBLA earned the Western Region Market Share Award.

Central Valley High School sophomore Ariel Allen won eighth place in the Public Relations category.

“Central Valley High School sophomore Brittney D. Hartshorn recently attended the Washington State Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar at Gonzaga University. The seminar included representatives from 127 high schools in the state, and is designed to bring high school sophomores together with leaders in business, government and education.
