NEW FACES

Shelbie Rabe has been hired as branch manager business development officer at the downtown branch of Wheatland Bank. She previously worked at Wells Fargo Bank and is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Spokane.

Storhaug Engineering has re-hired Matt Ballard as a field engineer/project manager. Ballard holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Central Washington University and has recently returned from a deployment in Iraq.

Shaun Cammack has been hired as production manager at Magner Sanborn. He previously worked as a freelance consultant to the firm and recently graduated from Eastern Washington University.

The Post Falls office of Windermere Real Estate has hired Rebecca Van Brunt as a sales associate. She previously worked as a dental assistant.

Franklin McMillan has been hired as director of production in WhiteRunkle’s satellite office in Atlanta. He previously worked as a senior account executive at Com-Pak Services Inc.

The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery has hired Susan Cerutti-Jensen as director of public relations and development. She previously worked at Spokane Teachers Credit Union and has 13 years of experience in the financial industry. She is a graduate of Western Washington University and a 2002 graduate of Leadership Spokane.

PROMOTED

Michelle Van Slate has been promoted to manager of the Hayden Financial Center of AmericanWest Bank. She has been with the bank for three years and has over 15 years of experience in banking and finance.

Panhandle State Bank has promoted Anita Porter to commercial loan officer at the Sandpoint branch.

Porter has been with the bank for more than a year and has been working as a credit analyst.

John Keeling has been promoted at Enterprising Capital to assistance vice president.

He previously worked as a sales manager and has been with the company since its start-up.

Wheatland Bank has promoted Jennifer Nelson to assistant vice president. Nelson is a human resources administrator and has been with the bank for almost five years.

James Duff has been promoted to president of Empresa Minera Manquiri in South America, a subsidiary of Coeur d’Alene Mines. He has 37 years of mining experience and has been involved in the company’s San Bartolome project since 1999.

KUDOS

Janice Baldwin, first vice president in the Coeur d’Alene office of Merrill Lynch, has earned the Certified Financial Planner designation.

Jon Schad has been awarded Building Operator Certification Level I by the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council. Schad works in facilities operations at Washington State University-Spokane.

David Panken, chief executive officer at Spokane Mental Health, has received the 2005 Mary Higgins Award from the Washington Community Mental Health Council. The award honors those who advocate for community mental health services.
