Youth concert Friday

A youth concert featuring several local bands is set for Friday at Opportunity Presbyterian Church, 202 N. Pines Road. The music will begin at 7 p.m.

Scheduled performers include Beaf and Quagmire, both comprised of University High School students. The third band, Catalyst, was the winner of the 2005 RAWK Final Four.

This is one of several youth concerts hosted by the church. The bands featured are not necessarily Christian, but the music must be appropriate for a church environment. Additional concerts are planned.
