Free concert scheduled

Covenant United Methodist Church, 15515 N. Gleneden Drive, is presenting “A Celebration of Musical Gifts” Sunday at 7 p.m.

The evening will include music from the Tatenda Marimba Band, the Covenant Marimba Band, the church’s handbell choir, the Covenant Choir and the Worship and Praise Team.

Healing concert

Living Hope Ministries will perform Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel on the sixth floor of the Doctors Building at Sacred Heart Medical Center, 101 W. Eighth Ave. The group is a Mennonite choir that regularly sings throughout the patient-care units of the hospital.

It will sing healing and sacred music to raise funds for the hospital’s Palliative Care Music Program, which provides music to patients at the end of their lives. There is no charge for the concert, but donations will be accepted.

35th anniversary concert

The Heritage Singers will celebrate their 35th anniversary with a concert Tuesday at 7 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd. For more information, call the church office at 467-8986 or visit www.heritagesingers.com.

Outdoor worship

Centenary United Methodist Church, Central UMC, Highland Park UMC, Liberty Park UMC, Manito UMC and Moran UMC are presenting an outdoor worship service at Moran UMC, 3601 E. 65th Ave., at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Anyone wishing to attend is asked to bring lawn chairs and blankets. There will be a potluck barbecue after the service. For more information, call Pastor Barbara Caviezel at 448-7102.

Spirituality class

Ancient Traditions Community Church, 1928 E. Rich Ave., is presenting a Personal Mission Discover class Monday and June 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The classes will discuss formulating your mission in life. The cost is $10 for each class.
