Trentwood SCOPE – Volunteers welcomed two new members. They recently put flyers on doors in the area in an effort to recruit new volunteers to help with crime prevention programs. Fire District 11 (Rockford) – Commissioners completed the purchase of new equipment paid for by grants from the Department of Natural Resources and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The district purchased new air packs, supply lines for two engines, safety vests and signs. (Source: Chief Stan Seehorn)

Rockford City Council – In view of recent interest in Rockford by developers, city council members discussed how many new homes could be accommodated in the area based on the town’s current sewer and water systems. (Source: Town Clerk)
