This gentle giant was dropped at the Humane Society during the night in November 2003! It is hard to imagine how he has been overlooked for so long.

Theo is part of a group of exceptional dogs that are allowed to sit behind the reception counter with staff and help greet visitors.

He is a little on the independent side with not much interest in toys. He liked his walk and his treats. He was good on the leash, but what really aroused his interest was the sight of another dog that he thought he might be able to play with.

His assessment card says he is highly social with dogs and cats.

Theo has been sponsored, which reduces his adoption fee to around $55. If you are looking for a calm, mature dog that makes you feel safe just by his size, Theo is the dog for you.

You can meet him at the Humane Society of Spokane, 6607 N. Havana St. The telephone number is 467-5235. Theo is in Kennel No. 2.

The Humane Society is open seven days a week.
