Coach’s comments: “The expectations aren’t very high. We’ve got very young and inexperienced kids. It’s going to be fun because there’s not a lot of pressure on them.”

Outlook: Wallace’s last trip to state was in 2000.

Because the Miners have a cooperative program with Mullan, they must continue to compete in 2A even though they’re in 1A in all other sports.

The Miners came within a game of qualifying for state last year. To do so this year would exceed their prospects.
