Heppner traveled to Colfax (0-1) the next day, beating the Bulldogs 14-5. … Newport baseball (2-0) is off to a good start, with 13-run wins over Deer Park and Timberlake of Spirit Lake, Idaho. The Grizzlies were 9-10 last year while playing in the Great Northern League.
