Getting There

To get to Nelson, take US Hwy 2 north, which becomes WA-20, then WA-31 (follow directions for Metaline Falls). At the border, WA-31 becomes BC-6.

Continue on BC-6 and turn left at BC-3 toward Nelson. Keep your eyes peeled for BC-6 at Salmo, where you will turn right and go through town. (Careful here, as even locals miss it occasionally.) BC-6 eventually leads you right to Nelson, BC, as it turns into BC-3a, which takes you right through town, across the big Orange Bridge and toward both Blaylock’s Mansion and Ainsworth Hot Springs.
