Tech Q&A The Spokesman-Review

Q: How would you recommend that I clean a very dirty computer keyboard?

A: Put the keyboard on the top shelf of your dishwasher and don’t use dishwashing detergent. Set the dishwasher to the rinse cycle and don’t use heat to dry it. Before you can use the keyboard again, allow several days for it to dry. If you don’t, the water will fry the keyboard’s circuitry when you reconnect it.
