“ Joei Carlton Hossack will sign her book “Free Spirit: Born to Wander” today from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Lincoln Heights Hastings, 2512 E. 29th Ave.; and Tuesday from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Hastings, 101 Best Ave.

“ Norman Krick will read from his new supernatural fantasy/action adventure novel “Shepherd’s Will” on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Auntie’s Bookstore, 402 W. Main Ave. (838-0206).

“ The Valley Barnes & Noble’s Mitford series book group will discuss “These High Green Hills” by Jan Karon on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the store, 15310 E. Indiana Ave. (922-4104).

“ Auntie’s Book Group will discuss “Waiting For Snow in Havana” by Carlos Eire on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Auntie’s Bookstore.

The Valley Barnes & Noble’s Mystery/Romance Group will discuss “Citizen Vince” by Spokane author Jess Walter on Thursday at 7 p.m.

“ The Valley Readers Group will discuss “Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Valley Hastings, 15312 E. Sprague Ave. (924-0667).

“ Washington State Geologic Survey employee Fritz Wolff will read from his book about mining, “A Room for the Summer,” on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Auntie’s Bookstore.

“ Marc Estrin will read from and sign his new novel “The Education of Arnold Hitler” on Thursday at 8 p.m. at Bookpeople, 521 S. Main St. in Moscow, Idaho; on Friday at 2 p.m. at Bookie Too, Washington State University, Pullman; and on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Borders Books, 9980 N. Newport Highway.
