Smith’s long-range shooting, 24 points lift Lynx over Sparks

MINNEAPOLIS – Katie Smith scored 24 points and hit two key 3-pointers to lead the Minnesota Lynx past the Los Angeles Sparks 68-65 on Wednesday night.

Chamique Holdsclaw scored 14 points and had 11 rebounds to lead five L.A. players in double figures. Lisa Leslie of the Sparks added 13 points.
