Peters’ Chiefs improve

The Spokesman-Review

(Columnist John Blanchette), you should try to understand that the Spokane Chiefs are not in the same class as a Ping-Pong team or a billiards table game.

I’m a 22-year season-ticket holder that takes me to about 36-50 games per season, many more than your one or two per year. If you can’t see the improvement (coach) Bill Peters has made with our team maybe you should watch a skateboarding meet.

Sure, the last five years had poor head coaching, but don’t you ever put Bill Peters in that category, because he doesn’t belong there!

With all your sports wisdom and experience (ha-ha) no one can or should slap Bill’s ability after only 15 games into the season. So, Mr. Gretzky, this hump day is on you. Go report on a sport you understand. By the way, horseshoes needs to be covered by this rag you work for. If you understand it, go for it.
