The Spokane Symphony will repeat its popular “Beethoven Bash” concert Friday at North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene.

The previous performance of Beethoven’s Third (“Eroica”) and Fifth symphonies sold out last month at the Spokane Opera House.

As at the Spokane concert, people under 30 attending Friday’s performance will receive a free “Beethoven Bash” T-shirt.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. in Schuler Auditorium in NIC’s Boswell Hall.

Tickets are $28 and $20 ($9 with student ID), through the symphony ticket office (624-1200), the NIC ticket office (208-769-7780) and TicketsWest outlets (325-SEAT, 800-325-SEAT, www.ticketswest.com).

Symphony soiree at Davenport

The Spokane Symphony’s Chamber Soiree series continues with a concert tonight at 7:30 in the Davenport Hotel’s Marie Antionette Ballroom.

The soirees feature smaller groups of symphony musicians performing chamber music in a cabaret-style atmosphere.

Tonight’s program includes Divertissement for String Quintet and Bassoon by Jean Francaix; Duo for Violin and Viola in G Major by W.A. Mozart; Danses Sacree et Profane by Claude Debussy; Trio for Violin, Viola and Cello by Franz Schubert; and Four Outings for Brass by Andre Previn.

Table seating is sold out, but gallery tickets remain; beverages are available for purchase for those sitting in the gallery.

Tickets are $18, through the symphony ticket office and TicketsWest.

String Quartet at CenterStage
