Week in review

Fire District 8 – Commissioners approved a 2.3 percent cost-of-living increase for nonrepresented staff and the chief. They also agreed to balance out the salaries of the three deputy chiefs so all three will paid the same amount over the next 21/2 years. They also reviewed the projected revenues and budget for 2006. The State Auditor is performing a routine audit of the district for 2003 and 2004. Commissioners opened a bid from Dishman Dodge for a 2005 Durango to replace a staff vehicle.
