Hometown: Coeur d’Alene. She has lived in Idaho since 1968.

Occupation: Nail technician. She owns Nail Tek 911 and has had the business for 5½ years.

Family: Husband, Clayton; four children, Jerri, 29; Adam, 28; Amy, 26, and Gina, 19. Penny also has nine grandchildren.

Pets: A 3-year-old female Burmese/Siamese cat named Honey.

Hobbies: Shopping, including personal shopping for her clients. She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.

Musical preferences: 1970s music, adult contemporary, some classical – no rap!

Favorite reading: Self-help books, but she is currently reading the “Harry Potter” series.

Travel plans for winter: May be going to Arizona to visit her mom and see her mom’s new home.
