MacDonald to coach men’s tennis at GU

Gonzaga University has hired Peter MacDonald to be its new men’s tennis coach, athletic director Mike Roth announced.

MacDonald joins GU after four years as a private contractor for Pro Pete, Inc. in Portland.

In that role, MacDonald helped develop a high-performance junior tennis program and organized and ran high-performance clinics for the Pacific Northwest’s top players.

He has helped coach several players to victory at national open tournaments in both singles and doubles play.

MacDonald graduated from the University of Portland in 1996.
