Newport Heritage Days
Newport Heritage Days will culminate in a day-long festival in Newport, Wash., Saturday, Sept. 17, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Activities will include tours of the Pend Oreille County Historical Society Museum, plus demonstrations of wool spinning, butter churning, blacksmithing and quilting. Crafts, music and food will be available. There will be a 10-cent rummage sale and silent auction. For more information call (509) 447-5388
