Beyond Oz: Highlights from the L. Frank Baum Collection of Currie Corbin - In honor of the 150th anniversary of the birthday of L. Frank Baum, author of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” Gonzaga University will host an exhibit of Oz books, posters, first editions of Oz serial titles and more. All materials are on loan from Currie Corbin, who will discuss his collection in a lecture April 27, 7 p.m., at the Foley Center Teleconference Room. Running Start Information Night - Hosted by Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College for high school juniors and seniors and their parents to learn how they can earn college credits while completing high school academic requirements. Mobius Kids – Children’s museum composed of seven galleries aimed at kids ages 10 and younger. Permanent installations include Bayanihan, an exploration of the culture of the Philippines, and Geotopia, which uses the principles of Earth science to describe the effects that water, wind and weather have on the ecosystem.
