Send friend goat for good cause

Jenni Mcneish The Spokesman-Review

If you have a friend who always gets your goat, return the favor by sending them a real goat.

“Send a Friend a Goat,” a fundraiser for The Wishing Star Foundation, begins Monday and continues through April 28.

Here is how it works:

Have a real-live goat sent to a friend at their office, school, home, meeting, etc., for $75 by calling 744-3411.

Upon your request, a goat, complete with plastic mat, will then be sent to hang out with your friend at a designated location for up to 15 minutes. During the encounter, your friend will receive special surprises and will be asked to pay a fee in order to have the goat leave for the next friendly visit.

Funds from this event will benefit The Wishing Star Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to granting the wishes of local children with life-threatening illnesses.

Visit www.wishingstar.org for more information on offered services.
