Senior fair next Saturday at St. Paschal’s

St. Paschal’s Roman Catholic Church will again host its free annual senior services and health fair. The informational fair will be next Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 2521 N. Park Road.

Numerous social agencies and senior service providers will be on hand with information. Examples include information on home delivery of groceries, long-term care insurance and errand services. Agencies expected to send representatives include Aging and Long Term Care, the American Red Cross, the Alzheimer’s Association and Spokane Valley Meals on Wheels.

Seis de Mayo

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo a day late at Zion Lutheran Church next Saturday. The evening will begin with a Mexican food potluck at 6 p.m. After the meal, those interested can take a Salsa dance lesson from professional instructors.

First Tuesday

The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection hosts its monthly First Tuesday discussion from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday. The guest speaker is Sister Faith-Margaret from the Community of The Holy Spirit in New York speaking on “Daily Faithful Living.”

Book sale

Redeemer Lutheran Church will host a used book sale today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There also will be used videos and music. Proceeds will benefit Lutheran Community Services. The church is at 3606 S. Schafer Road.
