Lennox hits clutch 3-pointer in Storm win
Betty Lennox swished a 3-pointer with 18 seconds to play to carry the Seattle Storm to a 77-75 win over the Minnesota Lynx in Minneapolis on Tuesday night.
Sue Bird scored 21 points and had seven assists to lead Seattle. Her 3-pointer with 2 minutes to play tied the game. Lauren Jackson’s two free throws with 7 seconds left sealed it. Jackson finished with 20 points.
Minnesota rookie Seimone Augustus missed a 3-pointer that would have tied the game with 10 seconds left.

Mystics 84, Sparks 74: At Washington, Alana Beard scored 29 points and DeLisha Milton-Jones keyed a late rally to help Washington beat Los Angeles.
Monarchs 74, Comets 62: At Sacramento, Calif., DeMya Walker and Yolanda Griffith each scored 16 points and Sacramento clinched a playoff spot with a victory over Houston.
