Kempthorne session at Convention Center

A”listening session” Wednesday morning on federal conservation and environmental programs has been moved to the Spokane Convention Center.

Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne, the former governor and U.S. senator from Idaho, will be at the convention center from 9 a.m. to noon.

The session is one of eight being held across the country. The sessions are being held to discuss ways to improve conservation and environmental partnerships with the government.
