Hints from Heloise
Dear Heloise: I have a helpful hint for taking your lunch to work. Always make sure to pack it ahead of time. Keep the cold items in the refrigerator, and set out the nonperishable items in brown sacks with color-coded labels indicating which day of the week your lunch is for: Monday use blue, Tuesday use red, etc. That way, in the morning you can take cold items out of the refrigerator and put them in the appropriate sack. It really helps to save time in the mornings so you’re not in such a rush. Also, be sure to write your name on your lunch so that no one gets confused at the office. – Tara, Little Rock, Ark.
Dear Heloise: I found that when my husband came home from the hospital, he had to prop his legs up high, as they were swollen. I didn’t want to use a drawer, so I thought of the large packages of toilet paper (36 rolls). I placed a package into a pillowcase, and it worked fine. It did squash the rolls, but everything came out fine. – Jean C., Kingston, Ontario
