Wagoner-Brown

Shanda Brown and Ryan Wagoner, both of Spokane Valley, plan to marry Feb. 24.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Darin and Pam Towles, Spokane Valley. The groom-to-be is the son of Rick Wagoner and Jeannine Wagoner, both of Spokane Valley.

Brown works at Chili’s Restaurant. Wagoner is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and is employed at Wal Mart.

Bowles-Wigen

Marisa Wigen and Timothy Bowles, both of Millbrook, Ala., plan to marry April 7.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Marvin and Marilyn Wigen, Oakesdale, Wash. Stanley and Tina Bowles, Millbrook, are the parents of the groom-to-be.

A graduate of Washington State University and Troy University at Montgomery, Ala., Wigen works at Manpower Inc. in Montgomery. Bowles, who graduated from Auburn University, is employed at Harley-Davidson in Montgomery.

Pence-Longshore

Marie Longshore and Joseph Pence Jr., both of Spokane, plan to marry in the summer.

George and Geneva Marshall, Spokane, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Joseph and Delores Pence, Spokane.

Longshore and Pence both work for the city of Spokane.

Johns-Williams

Jennifer Williams and Steven Johns, both of Spokane, plan to marry July 7.

Kevin and Ruth Erwert, East Wenatchee, Wash., are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Shirley Johns, Kirkland, Wash., and the late Dennis and Melva Johns.

Williams, a graduate of Spokane Community College, is employed at Sacred Heart Medical Center. A graduate of Central Washington University, Johns is employed at Industrial Software Solutions Wonderware, Bothell, Wash.

Varnell-Balzer

Nicole Balzer and Paul Varnell, both of Spokane, plan to marry July 28.

Cary and Nancy Balzer, Spokane, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Maurice Varnell, Long Beach, Calif., and Terri and Ted Hewitt, Sacramento, Calif.

Balzer is employed by Advantage IQ. Varnell works for Verizon Wireless.

Largent-Mietzner

Angela Mietzner and Ryan Largent, both of Spokane, plan to marry Aug. 18.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Randall Mietzner, Pullman, and the late Claudia Mietzner. Don and Betty Largent, and Toni and Pat Carey, all of Spokane, are parents of the groom-to-be.

A graduate of Eastern Washington University, Mietzner is a social worker. Largent works in construction.
