The sincerest form of bigotry

Et tu, Andy Dick?

In an apparent attempt to joke about Michael Richards‘ infamous use of the “n-word” during a stand-up routine, quirkly actor-comedian Dick blurted out the racial slur himself onstage.

It happened Saturday at the famed Improv in Los Angeles, where Ian Bagg was performing.

According to TMZ.com, Dick had heckled Bagg from the audience and then joined him onstage, where they discussed Richards.

When Dick exited the stage, he suddenly grabbed the microphone and shouted at the crowd: “You’re all a bunch of …”

In a statement issued through his publicist, Dick said: “In an attempt to make light of a serious subject, I have offended a lot of people, and I am sorry for my insensitivity.”

Former “Seinfeld” star Richards has said his tirade last month was fueled by anger at being heckled, not racism.

He plans to meet with the four black audience members who were the targets of his remarks to apologize in person.

‘Break-Up,’ the sequel

Representatives for Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have confirmed that the Hollywood couple have called it quits.

After meeting while filming “The Break-Up” in 2005, Vaughn and Aniston have spent much of the last year and a half battling rumors about their relationship – first that it was starting, then that it was headed toward marriage, and most recently that it was sputtering.

In October, Vaughn threatened to sue over tabloid reports he was splitting with Aniston and had been seen kissing someone else.

There’s no w-i-f-e in ‘family’

Britney Spears dumped him and his debut album bombed, but Kevin Federline says he’s doing “great.”

As for seeking sole custody of his two sons with Spears, the aspiring rapper says he’s a family man and “that is the truth … in all honesty, that is what it is.”

Federline also is the father of a 4-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son with actress Shar Jackson, whom he dated before he became involved with Spears.

Paternity? That’s scary

Eddie Murphy may have dated former Spice Girl Melanie Brown earlier this year, but he insists he doesn’t know if he’s the father of her unborn child.

Asked by a TV interviewer whether he was happy about the baby, Murphy replied: “I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir.”

Murphy lately has been escorting film producer Tracey Edmonds, the ex-wife of singer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds.

That’ll do, pig – that’ll do

Finally, a moment of silence for George Clooney‘s beloved potbelly pig Max, who has died at age 19 of natural causes.

“Max, like any pet, became a member of the family,” Clooney’s publicist said, adding: “He was a big pig, as pigs go. I can’t tell you how much he weighed.”
