Devils 2, Flyers 0: At East Rutherford, N.J., Martin Brodeur recorded his 84th career shutout to tie Glenn Hall for third place in NHL history and New Jersey beat Philadelphia.

Oilers 2, Stars 0: At Dallas, Dwayne Roloson stopped 22 shots to help Edmonton get the win over Dallas.

Canucks 4, Hurricanes 3 (OT): At Vancouver, British Columbia, Daniel Sedin scored a power-play goal with 1:58 left in overtime as Vancouver recovered after blowing a three-goal, third-period lead to beat Carolina.

Drake receives suspension

St. Louis forward Dallas Drake was suspended for two games by the NHL for hitting Detroit defenseman Brett Lebda in the head Thursday night.
