Lake City rallies, wins in OT
Junior Nick Fromm scored a game-high 34 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Lake City to a 66-52 non-league overtime win over visiting Clarkston (0-3) Friday.
The Timberwolves rallied back from a 17-point halftime deficit by outscoring the Bantams 30-13 in the second half.
Lake City erupted in the overtime period, outscoring Clarkston 14-0.
Ty Stoddard finished with 18 points, six rebounds and four steals for the Timberwolves (3-1).
In other non-league action, Spenser Sundin scored 12 of his game-high 18 points in the first quarter as Pendleton beat host Kellogg 75-48. Jeremiah Big Spring led the Wildcats (2-2) with 13 points and six rebounds. … Zack Clow and Micah Smith scored 17 points apiece to lead Priest River to a 72-61 win over visiting Lakeland (0-4). The Spartans (4-0) outscored the Hawks 29-11 in the first quarter after opening the game with a 14-0 run. … Paul Wimer scored 17 points and Shane Miller chipped in with 14 as Moscow beat host Bonners Ferry 57-41. The Bears (3-0) converted on 19 of their 24 free-throw attempts while the Badgers (2-2) were 10 of 14. … Casey Sherrill scored 13 points and Jordan Lupfer added 12, including four 3-pointers, as West Valley (1-1) beat visiting Post Falls 64-59. Brandon Haas scored 14 points to lead the Trojans (2-2).

Katie Baker scored 18 points to lead Lake City to a 58-36 non-league win over visiting Clarkston. The Timberwolves (5-1) pounced on the Bantams early, outscoring Clarkston 12-0 in the first quarter. Kellie McCann-Smith scored 15 points to lead Clarkston (1-2). … Brittney Devorak scored 22 points, all coming in the first half, as Lewiston (2-1, 3-2) beat visiting Lakeland 58-41 in an Inland Empire League game. Devorak shot 8 of 8 from the field in the first half, including 6 of 6 from beyond the arc. Camille Reynolds scored 20 points to lead the Hawks (0-1, 2-4).
•Marisa Bush scored 18 points and Amanda Seeling added 16 as Kellogg beat host Wallace 47-45 in overtime in a non-league game. With the score tied at 45 in the overtime period, Kellogg (7-0) stole the ball with 10 seconds left and made a lay-in to seal the win. Lisa Carver led the Miners (4-4) with 18 points and 12 rebounds. In other non-league action, senior Richelle Daily scored 22 points and pulled down 15 rebounds to lead Medical Lake (1-2) to a 49-37 win over visiting Sandpoint (1-5). Marissa Propeck added 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Cardinals, who built a 27-12 halftime lead. Kim Guercio and Brittany Oakley scored 10 points each to lead the Bulldogs.
