The odds are against middle-age dogs like Guy. Despite the fact that he is entirely sweet, golden-coated, and beloved by shelter staff, folks shy away from adopting an older dog. In Guy’s case, that’s a shame for both dog and potential owner. He loves human companionship and although he has energy to burn, he’s happier receiving affection than retrieving a ball.
