Planning board names new members
The Kootenai County Planning and Zoning Commission has two new members.
County leaders have appointed Paul Matthews and Jody Bieze to the board, which considers everything from new housing developments to zoning variance requests from property owners.
Matthews lives in the Twin Lakes area and is a principal in the Pasold-Matthews Architects firm.
He has lived in the county for 16 years, according to the county planning department. Matthews replaces Dwight Hamilton, who has resigned effective Dec. 31.
Bieze is the marketing director for Creative Intelligence Media and lives near Arrow Point.
She has lived in the county since 1999. Bieze replaces Jerry Sue Limandri, whose term expires next month.
Planning and zoning commissioners serve three-year terms.
