UI welcomes Peabody Trio

The Peabody Trio makes its third visit to Moscow tonight as part of the University of Idaho’s Auditorium Chamber Music Series.

The piano/violin/cello trio, joined by a violist, will perform Johannes Brahms’ Piano Quartet in C minor, as well as trios and quartets by Mozart, Beethoven and Shulamit Ran.

The group is the resident faculty ensemble of the prestigious Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore.

Tonight’s concert begins at 8 in the UI auditorium. Tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for seniors and UI faculty and staff, and $8 for students, through TicketsWest outlets (325-SEAT, 800-325-SEAT, www.ticketswest.com), the UI Ticket Office (208-885-7212) and at the door.
