A recent poll of local voters found that many Spokane County residents want a light rail system but they want someone else to pay for it. Some highlights:

Light rail

48 percent favor

28 percent oppose

24 percent undecided

Bus rapid transit

48 percent favor

17 percent oppose

35 percent undecided

Rail funded with 0.3 percent sales tax

39 percent favor

53 percent oppose

7 percent undecided

Bus rapid transit with 0.1 percent sales tax

42 percent favor

47 percent oppose

11 percent undecided
