Time not on Hawks side

The Spokesman-Review

I enjoyed John Blanchette’s synopsis of the Seahawks’ performance in Super Bowl XL.

His reference to the Rolling Stones’ halftime show was insightful, but incomplete. Mick didn’t sing “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” as suggested, which would have been fine if the Seahawks weren’t “washed up and left for dead,” but hey “you can’t always get what you want.”

The Stones did, however, end their three-and-out set with “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction.” Maybe (Seattle coach Mike) Holmgren was waiting to hear “Time is on My Side.”
