Hints from Heloise

The Spokesman-Review

Dear Heloise: The next time you make deviled eggs, take the yolk mixture and spoon it into a zipper-top bag. Cut the corner off and use it like a cake-decorator bag to squirt the mixture into the egg halves. Works like a charm, and it makes decorative deviled eggs. – Lily Engles, San Antonio

An egg slicer can be used for more than just slicing eggs:

Use to cut uniform slices of mushrooms.

Use to slice large, pitted olives.

Use to slice bananas or strawberries. Heloise
