Wellpinit ignited a 20-point fourth quarter with two 3-pointers in a 58-48 win at St. George’s in the Panorama League boys basketball tournament Monday night that sent the Redskins into the district tournament.

TJ Flett’s double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds) led a balanced attack for the Redskins (14-8). Jeffrey Livingston also had a double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds) for St. George’s (16-7), which was eliminated.

Selkirk (16-7), a 67-42 winner over Cusick (9-14), will play Wellpinit Thursday night for third and fourth seeding to district. Matt Reed’s 17 points and Travis Zimmerman double-double (14 points, 11 boards) led Selkirk. Cusick was eliminated.

Whitman tournament

At Endicott, the St. John-Endicott boys and LaCrosse-Washtucna girls won championships and top seeding to district Friday in Walla Walla.

St. John-Endicott (18-3) defeated Lac-Wash (12-10), which goes as the boys No. 2 seed. Tekoa-Oakesdale (15-7), off a 67-62 win over Asotin (15-9) as Austin Cook (19 points, 12 rebounds) had a double-double, is the No. 3 seed with the Panthers No. 4. Charles Appleton had 24 points and 12 boards for Asotin.

The LaCrosse-Washtucna girls (18-5) saw Alyssa Koller tally 26 points, 12 rebounds in a 72-48 win over St. John-Endicott (15-6). T-O (15-7) defeated Colton (16-7) for 3rd and 4th.
