Has TomKat really strayed?

The Spokesman-Review

Tom Cruise and his pregnant fiancee, Katie Holmes, are denying a magazine report that they’ve split up.

Quoting two unnamed friends of Cruise, Life & Style magazine claims that the couple “plan to keep up the charade of their romance until after their baby’s birth this spring.”

But the pair’s publicist insists they are “still engaged and are moving forward with their wedding plans” and “looking forward to a long and happy life together as a family.”

Holmes, 27, and Cruise, 43, have been engaged since June.

Older models

The cover of this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue shows an all-star lineup of models, including Rebecca Romijn, Rachel Hunter and Elle Macpherson.

“It was like a big family, since so many of us brought our kids,” says Macpherson, 42, who holds the record for most SI swimsuit covers at five.

“We all went surfing. It was so relaxed and easy.”

Stripper tease

Sounds like Robin Williams must be one of those comics who’s always “on.”

During a visit to the famed Scores strip club, Williams’ rapid-fire wit made it nearly impossible for an exotic dancer named Katherine to do her job, the New York Post reports.

“I was trying to dance for him,” she says, “but he kept making me laugh by making funny faces and noises.”

Not so charmed

Former “Charmed” and “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Shannen Doherty was bruised and cut on her thigh in a car crash that sent another motorist to the hospital.

The 34-year-old actress was turning left onto the Pacific Coast Highway in her Range Rover on Monday when she collided with another vehicle, police said. No citations were issued.

Doherty was arrested for drunken driving in 2001 and ordered to serve five days on a work-release program.

Blue heaven

The off-duty New York cop killed by a fellow officer last month will be memorialized in a film starring Colin Farrell.

After he was attacked by several men in a White Castle restaurant, Eric Hernandez held one in the parking lot at gunpoint. He then was shot by a patrolman arriving on the scene.

Hernandez, 24, had agreed to appear as an extra in “Pride and Glory,” about a family of New York police officers torn apart by a corruption scandal. He will be honored at the end of the movie.
