Ashlee Michelson scored a team-high 12 points and grabbed six rebounds Wednesday as North Central posted a 55-42 win over West Valley in a Greater Spokane League girls basketball tiebreaker at Central Valley.

Alicia Kahler added 10 points for the Indians (5-16), who were outrebounded 34-23 but won the turnover battle 30-19.

Krystal McCarthy scored a game-high 16 for the Eagles (3-18), whose season came to an end.

NC advances as the No. 4 seed to the District 8 3A tournament, where it will visit Cheney on Friday in a loser-out, winner-to-region contest.
