MDA Free Support Group – The Muscular Dystrophy Association offers support groups in the Spokane area for individuals and their families affected by neuromuscular diseases, including muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, spinal muscular atrophy and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease). National Alliance on Mental Illness – The NAMI Spokane chapter has openings in its next Family to Family Education Course, a free 12 week course fir adult relatives of adults with mental illnesses. Passages Support Group – Provides peer-to-peer support from primary caregivers of children/adolescents with complex mental health needs.
