From now on, it’s high-end for Lohan

Lindsay Lohan doesn’t want to be thought of as just another party girl.

In the March issue of Allure, the 19-year-old says she wants to be considered a serious actress, adding: “I hate it when people call me a teen queen.”

The star of such family-friendly movies as “Freaky Friday” and “Herbie: Fully Loaded” has graduated to more grown-up roles, acting opposite Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin and Tommy Lee Jones in Robert Altman‘s upcoming “A Prairie Home Companion.”

She’s also been working on “Chapter 27,” a film about the death of John Lennon, starring Jared Leto.

As for her skinny phase last year, Lohan admits: “Sometimes being that thin doesn’t look healthy. I kind of didn’t realize that.”

Regarding her breakup with Wilmer Valderrama, she says: “I know now that I don’t need a boyfriend.”

The past year “felt like five lifetimes because I’ve grown up a lot,” Lohan says. “I know better what to do and what not to do. I lost sight of the people and things that are most important to me.”
