U.S. team shows warts

Perhaps “The Ugly American” has become “The Arrogant American” of these Olympic Games. Some of these self-centered, overindulged young people have not performed well in or out of the arena and for most of us actions speak louder than words. Their negative spotlight reflects badly on coaches, sponsors and all of us. It has taken away from those athletes truly dedicated to the Olympic spirit and our national pride. Hopefully, the next team to represent the United States can learn to be better ambassadors.
