Hints from Heloise

The Spokesman-Review

Dear Readers: Here are several readers’ favorite cell-phone hints:

• Whenever I meet someone and we want to exchange phone numbers, I never seem to have a piece of paper, so I just put the new number in my cell phone, along with the his/her name. – Susan Rapoport, Fort Myers, Fla.

• When you can’t explain style, color, shape, size or specific brand or pattern, take a picture using your cell phone to show exactly the piece of furniture or item you’re requesting. This will help the person buying to get the correct item and could also help with comparison shopping. – Pam Wyant, Springfield, Mo.

• I have an allergy to metal and am not able to wear a watch. My cell phone is my watch now. – Carol Beyer, North Fort Myers, Fla.

• My husband and I use our cell phone (we each have one) to talk back and forth when he is outside working. – B.E.T.S. in San Antonio
